Just wondering I'm planning a trip to Disney in October but some people are saying I should wait cause my little boy will only be 22 months old at time of travel and they tell me I should wait until he gets older just wondering if I should wait or keep pla

We don't know each other very well, but I think I can be open and admit that I am a Walt Disney World fanatic.  That automatically makes the answer I am going to give you a little bit biased, but I will tell you, my kids are Walt Disney World veterans from the time they were four months old.

Your son may not have great memories for the rest of his life of this trip, but you absolutely will!  I have so many awesome pictures of my girls at Walt Disney World, including one of my youngest daughter seeing the castle for the first time, and her tiny mouth is opened in an awestruck "o" shape.  She doesn't remember the first time she saw the castle, but I have a picture on my desk of that face, and I love it!  And even though he may not remember first hand everything he did, you'll have pictures to show him and remind him of how much he loved the trip!

I look at it this way - at age two, your son is still free at Walt Disney World, so the expense for him is really in just getting him there and home.  Will he have fun?  I have not met a child of that age who has not had fun.  There is a lot for you to do as a family, even if he doesn't love the characters.   You'll be able to enjoy many of the rides together.

If it was up to me, I'd say keep planning.  There is plenty for him to do at this age, and I think the memories you make will hold a magical meaning for the rest of his life.  Go for it!
