Hi Alvaro and welcome to
planDisney! You and your family are going to have so much fun during your visit to
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort this August! Thanks for sending us your question!
You can absolutely bring your own
golf cart during your stay at Fort Wilderness. My family and I have done this almost every time we stay. We even bring our dogs!
The process is really easy. You can park your trailer in the parking lot at the entrance of the Resort, take the golf cart down and have someone in your group drive it to your cabin. I always head to the Front Desk and let them know I will be parking my trailer. In the past, they would give me a paper with my cabin information on it and I would just attach it to the trailer.
You will have enough space in front of your cabin to park your personal vehicle and the golf cart. It’s really the best and most fun way to get around! You will also find parking for your golf cart at the marina at your Resort. That's where you can enjoy the nightly twinkling of lights from the
Electrical Water Pageant, just after 9 p.m. every night.
Your cart will come in very handy when you want to take the boat over to the
Magic Kingdom Park first thing in the morning. It’s also always a relief to see your cart after a long and fun-filled day at the park. No need to wait for a bus, to get back to your cabin!
Alvaro, I can go on and on about all the perks of staying at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. If you need any more advice, or if you have any other questions, please feel free to come back to see us.
It’s always our pleasure to help you with your plans!
Veronica
