Hi there, Melissa! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
I'm so excited to hear that you're planning to enjoy a meal at
Chef Mickey's during your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! My husband and I took our kids to breakfast at Chef Mickey's during their first visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Our whole family loved the fun, energetic atmosphere and delicious food at this
character dining experience so much that a meal at Chef Mickey's became one of our vacation traditions. You'll love visiting with Mickey and his pals as the
monorail glides by overhead.
Planning a meal at Chef Mickey's during your
Magic Kingdom Park day is a great idea. Chef Mickey's is located at
Disney's Contemporary Resort which is just a quick walk or monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom Park gates. Taking a break for a meal is a great way to rest and recharge during a busy day at one of the theme parks.
If you'd like to visit more than one theme park on the same day, you'll need a ticket with the
Park Hopper option. However, even with a
standard theme park ticket, you're welcome to exit and reenter the same park as many times as you need to throughout the park's operating hours.
One thing that you should be aware of during the fall is that Magic Kingdom Park closes early on select nights for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Be sure to double-check the
hours and events calendar to confirm that Magic Kingdom Park is open late on the date of your visit. As long as there's no special event scheduled for that night, you can feel free to enjoy your dinner at Chef Mickey's and then head back to Magic Kingdom Park for a fun-filled evening. I hope you have the chance to enjoy my favorite show, the
Happily Ever After fireworks.
Melissa, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. My fellow panelists and I are all ears! See ya real soon!
