I was just wondering how far in advance you can book/reserve a trip to Disney world. It’s a long way off but wanting to come for my husband’s 50th birthday on Christmas Day 2029. We spent our honeymoon at Disney world last summer and it was so magical.

    Hi K!

Welcome to planDisney! We are here to help you plan the most out of your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth! I'm glad I can help answer your question about planning a trip to Walt Disney World! Congratulations on your wedding and celebrating your honeymoon!  We spent our honeymoon enjoying the parks and resorts and as you said, it was absolutely magical.

K, typically Walt Disney World releases availability in June/July for the following year.  Currently, guests are able to book vacations through December 2021. It is expected that the 2022 schedules will be released next June/July, and so on.  In order to book your 2029 vacation, you would need to wait until the 2028 season begins!

The 2028 season seems very far away, but in the meantime, you can keep up to date with new attractions and happenings within the parks. In 2021, we expect to see the opening of Space 220, a new dining experience where guests will be able to enjoy a meal in 'outer space.' Two new attractions will be debuting in 2021 in Epcot, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure!  The Guardians of the Galaxy coaster will be considered one of the world's largest indoor roller coasters.  Remy's Ratatouille Adventure invites guests into the culinary adventures of Remy, and are given a 'rats' eye view into the world of Gusteau's kitchen! I hope these new attractions get you excited about your future trip!

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
