Hi, I was wondering my family is staying at S.S. Treehouse the week of 7-18-12. My father will be going to the parks with a scooter. How is going to get on the bus? Should we just take our car? Thanks

Hi Melissa, All the Disney buses are wheelchair and ECV scooter accessible. The buses have ramps which unfold and locking devices to secure the scooter or wheelchair during transport. However, given that you're staying at the Treehouses, if you have a car that can transport the scooter, this would be much easier for you. The Treehouses have a separate bus that picks up at the main Saratoga Springs resort. This means that even many simple trips can include multiple bus transfers, which can be time consuming when you're loading and unloading a mobility device.. I generally recommend that any Treehouse guest use a car, but with a scooter this becomes even more of an issue. Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if we can provide additional assistance.
