I was wondering if when eating at a quick service place can you order an item and ask them to leave something off of it? For instance guacamole seems to be on so many things and I am not a fan. Can you order and ask they leave it off? Thanks so much

Hello, Janelle! Welcome to my little club - people who are not fans of guacamole. I see it (and avocado) on so many things lately, I was convinced I was the only one who didn't like the stuff.

You will find that the quick and table service dining locations throughout Walt Disney World are very accommodating of specific dietary requests whenever they can be. You can request something be left out of a dish, and in most cases, they can leave it off for you. Sometimes, if something has been premade, or if an item is incorporated into a dish, it won't be possible to make adjustments. I actually had a child ask for carrots to be left out of her cole slaw one time. Not only is something like that not possible, it does cause cast members to give you quizzical looks.

Did you know that there are Create Your Own options at Landscape of Flavors at Disney's Art of Animation Resort? My kids love to pop over there for a meal whenever we are visiting Walt Disney World. They can build their own omelettes at breakfast, or pasta and pizza at dinner. It's a great way for someone with specific food preferences to get a meal created exactly as they like!

Wishing you the most magical vacation!
