    1) I am wondering when Disneyland posts the dates we can try to get one of their candy canes. 2) I was told to go early to try to get one of the tickets to get a candy cane but how early is early?

    Hi Lynn!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You know it is officially the holidays at Disneyland Resort when you begin to spot the coveted candy canes!

    The Disney Parks Blog actually released the candy cane dates for 2016 exactly one year ago today, on November 8th. Based on that timeline we should see this information very soon so I would certainly recommend following along on the Disney Parks Blog for that information. I would recommend being at the main gates to enter at least one hour before opening. If the park where the candy canes are available that day have Extra Magic Hours, I'd plan on lining up at least 30-45 minutes before that then immediately queuing for the candy cane. They will not pass out wristbands prior to the official park opening though.
