Welcome to planDisney! It’s always great to have a snack and shopping budget prepared for your vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth. I’ll be happy to clarify the payment methods that are accepted at the Disneyland Resort, so that you have a smooth experience!
At this time, Disneyland does not list Cash App as an acceptable payment method. Here is a list of the
payment methods that are accepted on the Disneyland website and
mobile app:
- Disney Gift Card
- Disney Rewards Redemption Card
- Credit or Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, Diners Club International, JCB, and Union Pay)
- PayPal
- Apple Pay
While Cash App payments are not accepted, you may still be able to use those funds during your visit. I recommend adding your Cash App card to your Apple Pay wallet. Since Apple Pay is accepted at the resort, you should be able to pay this way!
Bonus Tip: For a quicker shopping experience, check out the
Mobile Merchandise Checkout option. This process is available at select locations throughout the resort. Here’s how you can use it:
- Open the Disneyland mobile app.
- Tap the (≡) icon in the bottom right corner.
- Tap “Merchandise Checkout.”
- Scan the merchandise barcodes while you shop.
- Tap “Purchase” to pay for your items.
- Show your QR confirmation code to a Cast Member at a designated Mobile Merchandise Checkout kiosk.
From here, your receipt will be emailed to you and you’re good to go!
