Ahoy, Amber!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love that you are already thinking ahead to a
future cruise before your February vacation begins. It's never easy when a Disney Cruise Line vacation comes to an end, so having another cruise booked or a placeholder reserved makes disembarkation a bit easier! And there are often savings to take advantage of by booking onboard.
Amber, you can use a
Disney Gift Card to pay your Placeholder deposit on your upcoming sailing. You will need to visit the Disney Vacation Planning Desk in-person to pay the deposit instead of making it through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. If for some reason you need to cancel your Placeholder, you'll want to hold on to your Disney Gift Card so the amount can be applied back to the card. Once you are ready to visit the desk, you can join the line from the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and receive an alert when it's almost your turn. The hours of operation for the Disney Vacation Planning Desk will be listed in your cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator and on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. I took advantage of the virtual queue on my last cruise and loved that I could enjoy activities onboard while I waited! The line tends to build towards the last evening, so you'll want to keep that in mind. Also, your Placeholder is good for up to two yEARs from the day you book your reservation onboard. If you plan to book a cruise around the same time as your February sailing, you'll want to consider that when deciding which day to visit the desk.
I'm so glad you stopped by, Amber! Your magical vacation will be hEAR before you know it, and you'll be escaping the cold to enjoy a tropical getaway with Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of their seafaring crew. They can't wait to SEA you real soon.
