I was wondering if you can use Disney gift cards to pay for all of your disney world vacation. like tickets ,lodging and food. I am trying to save a little money on this vacation and if I can get gift cards at discount . That would save a little money.

    Hi Marcia,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

Two things I really love are going to the Walt Disney World Resort and saving money! Yes, you can use Disney Gift Cards to pay for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation-I've done it many times with great success.

Note that if you use your MagicBands to charge items to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room, you will need to visit the front desk once per day to pay for your room charges with a gift card. I actually like this because I know how much I'm spending every day and I know that I'm staying on budget.

If you're paying for a vacation package, you can call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations or your travel agent and use gift cards to pay for your vacation. I do suggest visiting the Disney Gift Cards website to combine smaller value gift cards into a single $1,000 card to make this a bit easier.

Marcia, I hope you have a magical time! Come visit us again with all of your vacation planning questions!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
