Hello, I was wondering how do I use my Disney gift cards to pay for an annual pass if I’m a Florida resident?

    Hi Erica,
So glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question-welcome!

I don't know about you, but I love being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder! There are so many incredible benefits that I use throughout the year, from the free PhotoPass downloads, the select merchandise and select dining discounts, plus some exclusive Passholder events throughout the year-what's not to love about that?

I did call the Annual Passholder hotline to check on this for you.  Here's the scoop: if you're using your Disney gift cards to pay for your Annual Pass in full, you will need to ensure a couple of things: first, that the cost of your entire pass is available on your gift card. You may combine gift cards on the Disney Gift Card website up to a value of $1,000.  If you're using multiple gift cards, you'll have to call to purchase your pass or do it in person.  Second, you will have to make a stop at Guest Relations before you use your pass for the first time to allow them to validate your Florida resident identification; once they have checked your ID (or other form of identification), your pass will be good for the entire year.

Erica, I hope this helps make it easy for you to purchase that Annual Pass and begin to enjoy the fun to be had all year long at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
