    Hi, I was wondering when the “Discover Disney” deal will be announced for 2018. Thank you!

    Hi Cynthia! So happy you stopped by with your question!

    The Florida Resident Discover Disney tickets deal has been announced for this year. Hooray! As a Florida resident myself, my family and I have taken advantage of this deal many times. You can buy the tickets now through June 20, 2018 but you have to use all the tickets and any options you purchased for them by June 24, 2018.

    Now for the fine print, you can buy 3 or 4 days worth of tickets with the Discover Disney deal. Tickets are valid for admission to one park per day, but if you upgrade to the Park Hopper Option, you can visit all 4 parks on the same day! As you look through the Florida Resident deals, you will also notice some pretty good rates for Walt Disney World Resort stays through April 14, 2018.  

    Before you can start your visit at the parks, you have to visit Guest Relations or any theme park ticket window to show proof of Florida residency. One visit my husband left his wallet in our hotel room when we went to pick up our tickets! Thankfully, there's more than one way to prove your Florida residency!
