Wondering if the dining plan for 11 year olds is worth the cost since they're considered adults? For some meals they could eat an adult portion but not all. Has anyone costed this out? We've always loved the dining plan in the past. Thanks!

    Hi, Dianne!
Thanks for checking in with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I totally understand your concern. When my son turned 10, and we took a trip to Walt Disney World Resort, I cringed when we used a Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, and he was considered an adult. My son often ordered a children's meal, and the table service restaurant would give him a children's meal that was larger than the standard kid-size meal. My husband and I have agreed we will use a Dining Plan when we expect to use a lot of table service meals. We always feel like we get our money's worth when we have a lot of expensive sit-down meals.

I hope that's a little insight that helps you with your decision between purchasing or not purchasing a dining plan! Let me know if I can help answer any additional questions!
