About Me
I have a full time teleworking position that requires regular travel but that doesn’t stop me from finding opportunities for fun at Walt Disney World Resort. My job as a strategist and social media trainer means I really enjoy working with all types of technology. (That must be why I love using My Disney Experience so much on my phone.) I am a blogger and a special needs advocate. I am honored to help support families of kids born with differences. I think that’s why my family finds Walt Disney World so special. It is our happy place where everyone can just be themselves.
About My Family
My husband and I met in college and have lived in different parts of the country until we settled into the midwest. We recently moved into a beautiful home on a lake, so I feel like I live in a resort all year! Our relationship has evolved to joyfully include time in the Walt Disney World Resorts with and without our kids. Our future Imagineer son loves the inspiration of the parks AND the chance to ride all the rollercoasters. Our daughter has experienced half of her birthdays at Walt Disney World Resort. She’s an expert in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience. But don’t let that princess experience confuse you, she’s also a big Star Wars fan with her brother.
About My Disney Experience
I lived in the suburbs of Orlando between 4th and 6th grade. It gave me the chance to visit Walt Disney World often and inspired a long-time love of the parks. (I had awesome birthdays in Epcot.) Back then, I had assumed Walt Disney World was just for kids. But my aunt showed me how the Disney experience is so much fun as an adult. I know she was my inspiration to let go of any preconceived notions and just let myself be the Disney fan I really am. Since becoming a parent, my family drives down to Florida to visit my parents every other year. I have always included a Disney visit on those road trips. In the last few years, we’ve also found additional opportunities to add in a Disney visit or two. The thrill of watching my children enjoy Walt Disney World is a joy I can’t create anywhere else. I can’t wait to share my experiences so you can set up the most magical trips.
