    I was wondering since the day my friends and I were planning to go, but the day we wanted to go has no reservation available, are we still able to purchase tickets for that day at the gate?

    Hello and welcome to planDisney, Shanly!

    The holidays are the most wonderful time of the year and the most popular time to visit the Disneyland Resort. It seems everyone wants to walk right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. to see the gorgeous holiday decorations and enjoy tasty holiday treats.

    Currently, reservations for the theme parks of the Disneyland Resort are full through the beginning of January. There are no additional reservations held for same-day Guests. We were at the theme parks just last week and while we had tickets and reservations, I wanted to upgrade my tickets to Park Hoppers but was unable to do so due to the reservations being completely full.

    I would recommend you consider planning a visit after the holidays, Shanly. The magic of the parks lives year-round, and while the decorations might be different, you’ll still have plenty to enjoy in 2022!
