I am wondering with COVID- are we able to still wait in lines for rides like pre pandemic . Also, for reservations for the parks.. is it recommended we do that asap? Or can we do this maybe a week prior to the trip.

    Hi Kayla!

Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney! I have been to the Walt Disney World many times over the past two years, so I can definitely help you out with this. As can be expected, there have been a few adjustments to adhere to COVID-19 health and safety protocols. In regards to waiting in line, much of the process is the same. If the line is outside of the attraction, wearing a mask is optional. However, masks are required indoors, including all indoor attractions, indoor queues, and enclosed transportation. To provide an example, when I rode Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway at Disney's Hollywood Studios, part of the line was outside, so many Guests did not wear masks. However, when the line moved inside, all Guests put on their masks and kept them on for the remainder of the line and during the attraction.

I highly encourage you to make your theme park reservations quickly. You can first check the theme park availability on the calendar, then purchase your tickets, and make your theme park reservation.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
    Magically,
    Stacy
