Hi Moms! Wondering about the 2015 Christmas parade taping. We're flying in on Sat. 12/5/15 and didn't know if we could make it to the park in time to see some of the taping, if we needed tickets, what time of day they tape, etc? staying at the Contemporary

    Hey Janice!

When the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade is taped each year is typically a highly guarded secret. Last year it was taped over two days, Monday, December 8 and Tuesday, December 9. That came as quite a surprise to Walt Disney World regulars as the parade has historically been taped over a weekend. I would imagine the parade will be taped somewhere between December 4-10 in 2015.

I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as well as other Disney news outlets such as Easy WDW, WDW Info and All Ears for any late breaking updates.

As far as tickets to see the taping, you will only need a valid theme park ticket to enter the Magic Kingdom. No extra tickets are needed.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about Disney's holiday happenings or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
