Hi Kirk!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. There is no better place to the celebrate
The Most Wonderful Time of Year than
The Happiest Place on Earth!
The Candlelight Processional at
Disneyland Park dates back to Walt himself and is an honored tradition that truly marks the
holidays at Disneyland Resort! While the Candlelight Processional is rarely publicized until after the event, it's traditionally held the first full weekend in December with two performances each evening, though always subject to change. Unfortunately, this special performance is by invitation only and tickets for seats are not available for purchase or reservation. While Guests of Disneyland Park are able to enjoy the performance by standing room only, this is a very popular and often crowded event, where you'll likely find folks begin to congregate hours prior. If this is truly your only priority for your visit, you can certainly plan on attempting to find a spot early in the day, but please understand that Cast Members have a responsibility to keep the park safe and crowds flowing so space is very limited.
If you are unable to find a good spot, please know that there are plenty of other magical things for you to do to celebrate the holidays! Some of my personal favorites include
Haunted Mansion Holiday,
"it's a small world" Holiday and
A Christmas Fantasy Parade! Please come back and see us real soon, if we can help in any other way.
