I was just wondering about canceling adr, I know when I made then some had to be cancelled 48 hrs in advance but I can't remember which ones. Also what happens if we don't show up for a resevation? You rock, I read you everyday.

For the vast majority of the WDW restaurants, there are no ramifications if you don't show up for your reservation. Of course it is much more polite if you call to cancel, so the restaurant knows that it can free up a table for another guest, but there are no repercussions for you.

However, there ARE a few dining experiences where there are penalties for a no-show. These would be any meal you were asked to secure with a credit card to hold the reservation. Some likely suspects for you would be Cinderella's Royal Table, the Princess Storybook Meals, California Grill, Citricos, Victoria & Alberts, Hoop Dee Doo Revue, Spirit of Aloha, or Mickey's Backyard BBQ. For those few meals, if you do not cancel in advance, then you will assessed a fee on your credit card.

To make sure you get it right, I would call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE and ask them to look up your reservations for you. That way you can be sure of knowing which meals you need to be most aware of. Also, some of the restaurants above have a 24 hour cancelation policy, while others have 48 hour policy. You'll want to confirm which set of rules you're working under.

    Happy dining!
