Hi! just wondering what you moms bring along with you to carry all of your things around the theme parks? I don't want to lose anything on the thrill rides! Do you think a backpack would work or just get in the way?

In my family, we've always taken backpacks with us on the rides, including the roller coasters. Some people do tour the parks all day with just their Key to the World card in their pocket, but we always seem to have much more stuff than that: sunscreen, cameras, water bottles, rain ponchos, etc.

Several of the thrill rides have on-board pockets or bins in which you can store your gear. But mostly with the thrill rides I'll just put the backpack on the floor of the ride vehicle with my foot through one of the pack's straps. This is what I've seen just about every other guest with a pack do and it has always worked fine for us.
