    I was wondering if booking a non Disney hotel near Disney springs and we have park passes, can we just walk to Disney springs and starting using the Disney busses and transportation systems?

    Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

    Yes, you are welcome to walk over from your hotel to Disney Springs to use the Disney Transportation System buses to get to other Disney destinations. You are also welcome to use the monorails, Disney Skyliner, and the boats that sail through the numerous waterways at Walt Disney World.

    ALERT!
    It is important to note, however, that you cannot catch a bus from Disney Springs directly to the theme parks. They do not offer a service between Disney Springs and the parks. So how else would you get to the parks, using Disney transportation? Here are my suggestions

    • Magic Kingdom Park: To get to the Magic Kingdom, take the bus to Disney's Contemporary Resort and walk to the park. The walk is about 1/2 mile (or 3/4 km).
    • EPCOT: Take a bus to Disney's Beach Club Resort, then walk to the park, entering via the International Gateway entrance. The walk would be about 4/10 mile (or 6/10 km).
    • Disney's Hollywood Studios: Take a bus to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, then take the Skyliner to the park. 
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park: You really have to either drive your own car here, or take a bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, then catch the bus from there to the park. 

    That should get you on your way to the magic!

    BONUS TIP
    Check with your hotel for any shuttle service that they might provide. Most have some means for getting you to the parks, and this could get you there faster with fewer transfers.
