I am wondering what would be the best place to stay for my family. I will have a 5 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. It would be nice to be able to make it back to the room for a nap for the youngest one. Would like convenience to travel back to the room.

    Hi Misty!

There are so many wonderful resort options at Walt Disney World that it can be difficult to choose one. Since you have two young children, I have two suggestions for you. The first option is The Contemporary. Since the Contemporary is on the monorail line, it is extremely easy to get back to your room for the kids to nap, hang out at the pool and relax. Contemporary is also home to Chef Mickey's, which is a kid-favorite, and California Grill, which would be perfect for a parents night out.

The other suggestion I have for you is the new Art of Animation Resort. This resort is beautifully themed and has big family suites that will accommodate your family and even has a kitchenette for fixing small meals for your family. The main pool is centered around Finding Nemo, which is a toddler favorite. This resort is in the Value resort category, therefore is a bit further from the parks. You would need to take a bus to the parks, but it is only a 15-minute ride, so wouldn't be too bad of a commute.

I know that no matter which resort you choose, you will have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World!

    Magically,
    Stacy
