Hi, i was wondering what your best advice is to travel to wdw with a 2 year old and an 8 month old. We are visiting wdw in october. This will be our first time with children, all our other visits was with no kids so any advice will be great. Thank you

Stroller covers!  Fitted rain covers for your strollers are fantastic, especially in the rainy fall season.

I also like trinket toys - the dollar store is great for these.  Things like silly putty, Disney figurines, stickers, tops, yo-yos, etc. are great for entertaining the kiddos while you wait in lines or at the table for dinner.

I like to pack my daughters clothes for each day in ziploc bags.  This makes it easy for us to pull out a bag and get dressed for the day, and also tuck a bag into the stroller 'just in case.'  The bags are also handy to have around to use for wet clothes or bathing suits.

The biggest make-or-break a vacation issue with small children, in our experience, is knowing your own kids and what they can handle.  It never fails that at least once on every trip we see a family with exhausted kiddos having a total meltdown.  That's no fun for anyone!  It's tempting to try to see and do it all, but if your kids thrive on a schedule then you're much better off sticking to it.  If your little ones can nap in a stroller, that's awesome! Mine always did as well.  But some children MUST have a bed at naptime, and you will regret it if you try to change that on vacation!  Schedule time to relax and hit the pools or playgrounds so your kids can move freely and unwind.

    Have a great vacation!
