Wondering about the Bahamas port. We don't want to plan or book any port adventures. What is in and around the area where the ship docks? Is there anything to see or do without booking and paying for an adventure? Or should we stay on the ship? Thanks

    Ahoy Michelle!
Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel with your cruise question!  I'm so glad you are hEAR! When the ship docks in Nassau, you will find shopping and restaurants within walking distance of the ship.  There really aren't any free adventures close by.  If you aren't looking to spend much time ashore, you could get off, take a few pictures and stroll around the straw market.  There will be plenty of  things to do back on the ship even though many Guests will be ashore.  The cruise staff always makes sure those staying onboard have an array of experiences available!  The kids clubs will be open, the food will be plentiful, and the pool area will be a little less crowded!
If you do decide you want to experience something off the ship, check out the Port Adventures at www.disneycruise.com.  I know whatever you decide will be magical!
Please let me know if you have any further questions, Michelle!  I'm always happy to help!
Have a wonderful day and good luck with your planning!
