Was wondering if anyone has taken an infant and used a baby carrier for when waiting in lines? I will have a stroller but need something so I don't have to hold her. What did you find was the best method and did one type work better in the heat.

    Hi Kristen!

I used to love to use a Baby Sling with my daughter because I nursed her and the sling offered not only a comfortable way for me to hold her, but also I could nurse her while she was in it. However, everyone seems to like something different. I've heard others say that the sling didn't feel secure enough. I also used a Baby Bjorn when I would be carrying her for a long time. However, I found it a bit cumbersome to get her in and out.

If you plan to bring a stroller, but park it and walk with her for a bit while in line and even walking between attractions, a baby carrier, such as a Baby Bjorn, may be your best bet. If you just plan to carry her while in line, a sling may work best.

I also found a great resource on Parenting dot com that reviews the top 10 baby carriers. Check out this article to see which one will work best for your needs.

    Magically,
