You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney, Joanne!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question.
I know exactly how important
Advanced Dining Reservations are during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My family likes to make a list of our “Must-Eat treats” where we list our favorite snacks and every family member chooses one restaurant that we have to fit into our schedule. On our list, you’ll find breakfast at
Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria at EPCOT!
While Walt Disney World Resort does not offer concierge services for dining reservations, the website does offer up-to-the-minute availability.
Disney Signature Services is a special resource that is offered to Guests who have planned Enchanting Extras for their vacation such as a
Private Disney VIP Tour if you’re interested in that. Although they cannot guarantee dining reservations, they can help you look if you’re using their services.
Until then, you can also try something that’s helped me in the past! One thing I am sure to do is to check continuously for the reservations I am wanting. Many times, plans change for Guests and they’ll either change or cancel their reservations, and by checking frequently, I have been able to snag last-minute reservations this way.
If by the time you have arrived and are still wondering if a specific dining location is available, try using the
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability from your
My Disney Experience Mobile app. This service will add your party to the walk-up list at select table-service locations! You can check if there’s availability at the restaurants or by scanning the QR code provided at the Table Service of your choice. Once you’ve done this, you will follow the steps to add your party to the walk-up list if it is available.
I also have a tip for you if you are coming to The Most Magical Place on Earth with a large group! When I took my extended family of eight, we learned making two separate reservations worked better than making just one. I was easily able to find a table for four and my sister was able to find another table for the rest of our party. We put in a request to be seated together, if not, nearby one another, and although these are just requests and at the discretion of the restaurants, most of the time our requests were granted!
During the times when a reservation we really want doesn’t work out, I’ll tell you what my family does: we dine at a Walt Disney World restaurant we’ve never tried before, and usually, it turns out to be a magical experience!
Joanne, I hope you have an enchanting time!
