I was wondering if you are allowed to come and go with a Disney world park ticket? For example, if I purchase a 1 day ticket to magic kingdom and I want to leave mid day, and then return later that evening, could I do so?

    Hi Shaina,

I hope you're having fun dreaming about a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm so excited for you to experience ALL of the magic and fun! You're going to have a BLAST and will make memories that you'll cherish for years to come.

You'll be happy to know that yes, you may absolutely come and go as you please throughout the day. If you'd like to head back to your Disney Resort hotel for a mid-day swim or a nap before returning to Magic Kingdom Park to catch Happily Ever After later in the evening, you'll be able to do so! Plus, with Disney's complimentary Resort transportation, it's easy peasy to get wherever you need to go. I did want to let you know, though, that if you're just planning to head back out to your car to grab lunch or dinner, there's no need. You'll be able to bring food and drink with you into the theme parks, and you'll even find lockers available if you don't want to carry a cooler around with you all day long. Do keep in mind that you'll need to go through security and ticketing each time you enter the theme park, but you'll be able to plan your Disney day however it works best for you!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shaina, and please feel free to come back and see us again if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
