Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Erik!
Welcome to planDisney! It's wonderful to hear that you are looking into getting your little Mouseketeer on board to enjoy the magic as a whole family this year with his very own
Magic Key. Don't forget to grab a celebration button for him when you head over to Main Street, U.S.A., together for the first time!
So Erik, I contacted the cast members at the
Magic Key Holder special hotline. I just got off a call with Braxton, one of the fantastic Cast Members on that hotline. He confirmed what I know about
snagging a Magic Key for a three-year-old when they're sold out to the general public and the child's family are active Magic Key holders. But Erik, I'm afraid there's only a 60-day grace period for a child to join their Magic Key-holding family once they turn three.
But, if you're already planning a visit for the three of you, it's still a good idea to swing by the ticket booths. If Magic Key sales happen to be available that day, you can
apply what you paid for a day ticket towards the purchase of a new Magic Key.
I know this isn't the news you were hoping for, Erik- but as King Scar would say, I hope this info helps you
Be Prepared for Magic Key sales
when they reopen. Remember, a shining new era is tiptoeing nearer.
By the way, are you already following the official
Disneyland Magic Key Instagram page? That's where I stay updated with all the latest news, including new Magic Key sales. Another great source for info is the
Disney Parks Blog. They just dropped their
Foodie Guide to Holidays, and it all looks so scrumptious!
I hope this helps you get your Donald Ducks in a row for your next visit to The Happiest Place On Earth as a family, Erik! Please
message me directly if you have any follow-up questions. I can't wait to hear about the plans you're cooking up for your little guy!
See ya real soon,Danielle
