    Just wondering if you are able to character dine for lunch without visiting the park. I wanted to make reservations at Tusker House for lunch but we weren't necessarily planning on going to Animal Kingdom. Thanks!!

    Hi Jamie,

    You'll need to use a park ticket any time you enter the park - even for just a meal.

    However, there are several character dining experiences that are not in the parks. These include:

    - Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club, breakfast
    - Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, breakfast and dinner
    - 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, breakfast and dinner
    - Ohana at the Polynesian, breakfast

    If you dine at one of these character locations, then you won't need to use a park ticket. For a similar experience to Tusker House, try Chef Mickey's which also has a buffet and many of the same Disney characters in attendance.
