Hello. You all are so wonderfully helpfull. We have dinner ressies at CM for 8:20. We want to take the monorail from MK . How long will that take? should we not be able to get back to MK 4 wishes, where at the contemporary is a good spot to view fireworks?

Thank you for the sweet compliment, Penny!  We love helping guests like you plan Magical Disney Vacations! You are going to love dining with the "Fab 5" at Chef Mickey's!  Disney's Contemporary Resort will be the first stop on the Monorail line from the Magic Kingdom. The monorail trains arrive at the Magic Kingdom Station pretty quickly and once you have boarded the Monorail you should arrive at the Contemporary Resort within five minutes easily. The Contemporary Resort is also a short five to ten minute walk from the Magic Kingdom. If you feel that you will be able to make it back to the Magic Kingdom for Wishes, I would recommend walking back after dinner. The monorail line from the Contemporary Resort will make three stops before arriving at the Magic Kingdom, so walking back to the Magic Kingdom would be your fastest route. The best spot to view the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Contemporary Resort is from the bridge connecting the Contemporary main building to Bay Lake Tower. From this location, you should be able to hear the music and also get a good view of Cinderella Castle. I hope this helps! Please write back if I can answer any other questions for you! Best wishes for a Most Magical Trip!
