Hello, This is a wonderful site...thank you!! My question is...i bought the refillable mug when we were at Pop Century. They only have the year on them..2007..are we able to bring them with us to Port Orleans?? thank you, Shannon

    Thanks for writing, Shannon!

Well, I guess you could bring the mug, but I'm sorry to say that you aren't supposed to use it for refills ;-)

The policy on refillable mugs, which has been in place for many years (since approx. 2001, I believe), is that you should only use the mug at the resort where you bought it, and you should only use it for the length of your stay.

Those are the official rules.  Period.

Now, will there be people at the resorts using older mugs from prior trips?  It's certainly possible.  Will a cast member stop you from using an older mug?  Not likely.  Might a cast member even tell you that it's fine to use an older mug? Yep, again.

But, the Disney rules are very clear, and it's really up to you to decide what to do.

    Hope that helps.
