Hi Wonderful panel! Is there a way to pair MagicBands with a smart watch? I’d prefer not to wear 2 bands If possible. Thank you

    Suzann,

At this time you cannot pair the MagicBand technology with a smart watch. Believe me, as an avid Apple Watch wearer, I can say that this would be a great thing!

But no worries, the Panel is here to the rescue!

So the ShopDisney online store has a MagicBand section that has lots of different bands you can purchase. But also there you will find a lanyard 'medal' where you can remove the core 'puck' from the middle of the MagicBand and put in this medal that can then be clipped to a lanyard, or a belt loop or similar location. This is just one of a few similar items they have in the stores at the resorts and parks down at Walt Disney World.

I also found another solution.  There are a lot of home crafters that have created similar 'medals' that will then clip on to the band of my Apple Watch. The one I bought was VERY secure, and it resulted in me having only the one watch band, with both my watch and my MagicBand pass together.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
