Bonjour, Lindsay, and thanks for stopping by planDisney with this colorful question! I often add Disney touches to my home decor because who doesn't love bringing some magic back from
Walt Disney World Resort? Let's look at ways to recreate a
tres chic look for
ta maison.
I happened to be at
EPCOT yesterday, so I stopped by
La Crêperie de Paris to do some detective work. That gorgeous blue trim is truly eye-catching! My pal
Prince suggested I use a color-matching app on my phone, but it yielded inconclusive results. Never fear—the quest continues!
The friendly restaurant manager on duty shared that she didn't know any specific colors or paint brands used at the location, but she provided the email of someone who might be able to help. I know you're on the edge of your seat to see how this saga ends!
I heard back from the France Pavilion's Director of Operations this morning. Nothing beats going straight to the top! She shared that the exterior trim colors are PPG "Blue Beads" for the base and PPG "Dresden Dream" for the highlighted areas. She also mentioned that the other trim color used on windows at La Crêperie is "Ginger Tone."
Please remember that color tones can change slightly with the batch and may look different depending on lighting and weathering. However, those colors I provided should give you a fabulous starting point for creating your live-in masterpiece!
I have a confession: While there, I grabbed a Butter & Sugar Crêpe at
Crêpes À Emporter next door. Delectable! I wanted to ask for the recipe but feared I'd already overstayed my welcome!
Lindsay, I hope you feel like a French princess in your freshly painted castle. Please stop by
planDisney anytime! I had a
fantastique time helping you!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
