I just wondered if you have to be a on the Disney Dining Plan to make dining reservations. Each time I try to make a reservation, it says their is nothing available. We will arrive on Nov. 17th and leave on Nov. 23rd. Am I to late to make reservations?

Hi, Julie! I am so sorry to hear you are having some difficulty placing Advance Dining Reservations for your trip to Walt Disney World Resort. You have picked a great week to visit, as the weather is usually gorgeous and the Thanksgiving holiday crowds have not yet arrived.

All Guest are welcome to book an Advance Dining Reservation at any of the Walt Disney World Resort restaurants up to 180 days in advance. No dining plan is needed to make a reservation. Even though the crowd level may be a little lower the week you plan to visit, when compared to what it usually is the next week, it is still very important to book your Advance Dining Reservations as soon as you are able. There are many restaurants that will not have availability each day, with some completely booking as soon as their 180-day window opens!

I took a look online at the dates you mentioned and am seeing lots of availability across Walt Disney World Resort property. If you continue to have difficulty finding any reservations, give Disney Dining a call at (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 939-3463, and a Cast Member will be more than happy to assist you. If there is a specific restaurant you are looking to experience, but cannot currently find availability, be sure to keep checking. Many Guests change their plans, especially in the last few weeks leading up to their trip, and you may find a practically perfect meal suddenly appear.

I hope this information helps you, Julie. Please let us know if you have any further questions as you continue to plan your vacation.
