About Me

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist from South Carolina, but my heart is always in Sweet Home Alabama. When I am not planning Walt Disney World Resort visits for my family and friends, I can be found whipping up copycat Disney food creations and cheering on all of the University of Alabama teams – Roll Tide Roll! My husband and I are the proud parents of two daughters, who have already been bitten by the Disney planning bug and often advise their friends on must-do additions to their Disney Parks vacations. Our younger daughter is a thrill-seeking, dancing princess who cannot pass Adventureland without a stop for her favorite Dole Whip Float. Our older daughter is a trombone and baritone playing member of her marching band and has discovered that the life of a Disney Tween is a whole new world full of adventures.

About My Family

Each member of my family has a unique idea of what a fun vacation means to them. My husband wants to escape the stress of daily obligations while relaxing at an impressive pool, while our older daughter likes great shows, fun restaurants and learning about other cultures. Our thrill-seeking younger daughter is not content unless her heart has raced every day. I just want to let my Disney Side shine, even if it means dancing my heart out with my favorite Burudika Band in Animal Kingdom Park! Having fun is one of the bare necessities of life; Walt Disney World Resort provides my family a place where we can forget about our worries and have fun with ease. Wherever we wander, wherever we roam, we couldn't be fonder of our Disney home.

About My Disney Experience

Walt Disney World Resort has always been a big influence on my life, and some of my favorite childhood memories relate to my family’s trips there. I remember sitting on my dad’s shoulders watching the sparkling spectacle of the Main Street Electrical Parade float past us. As a parent, I felt that same excitement watching the parade with my own daughters, over 30 years later. Since then, I have experienced many kinds of Walt Disney World Resort vacations, including anniversary trips with my husband, mom-and-me trips with my daughters, solo trips, indulgent weekends away with friends, and multigenerational holidays. My friends know I am the person to turn to for customized restaurant recommendations, day-to-day itineraries and park touring plans at a moment's notice.
