We'll be on the Wonder for trip to Alaska in June. Are there activities we could find on ship for our 23 yr. old son with autism and dev. delays. He likes toys/games for elementary age children. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Hi Alvin!

I do have a few ideas to help keep your son entertained during your cruise.  Each day there will be family activities offered around the ship. The Promenade Lounge, Rockin' Bar D, and Studio Sea will all host fun family time events that your son will enjoy. Although he won't be allowed to check in to the kids' clubs, there will be "Open House" times designated for family time. As long as you accompany him, he will be able to explore these imaginative spaces.  Be sure to check your Personal Navigator, your daily cruise newsletter, every day for the family activities and open house offerings. He might also enjoy the character interactions on the ship. Character "Meet & Greets" will  be listed in your Personal Navigator as well.  A character breakfast will be offered on one morning of your sailing.  While you eat, Mickey and his crew sign autographs and pose for pictures.

Several of the Alaskan Port Adventures are especially designed for Disney cruisers and are seen as a bit more kid-friendly. The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Enhanced Show & Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp & Salmon Bake Featuring Exclusive Disney Character Experience are two your family might consider when venturing ashore!

Be sure to check out DCL Mom Andi's Alaskan videos.  She has some great tips for future Alaskan cruisers like you!
