Hi Zile,
I’m sorry to hear about your recent predicament leading to your canceled trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth. Hopefully, I can share some information that will help you navigate the cancelation process.
The first important thing to understand is that
theme park tickets and
theme park reservations are two separate things. The ticket is the purchase you made for admission to a theme park, while the reservation is selecting the specific date you plan to visit.
For your ticket, unfortunately,
Disneyland Resort tickets are non-refundable. However, you will still have access to use your ticket through the expiration date, and even after the ticket expires, you may still use an expired ticket toward the purchase of a new theme park ticket.
For your reservation, you may visit
My Reservations and sign in with your Disneyland Account information to cancel your reservation.
Again, I’m sorry your plans have changed, but hopefully, while in China, you can visit the newest Disney Park,
Shanghai Disney Resort! The new
Tron Lightcycle Power Run attraction looks so futuristic and fun – definitely a crowd-pleaser.
Best wishes,
Lola
