Ahoy, Thomas!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have a WONDERful voyage coming up real soon with Captains Mickey and Minnie. I know you are looking forward to a relaxing vacation at sea with Disney Cruise Line.
Thomas, in true Disney fashion, even
laundry is magical to do at sea! There are three self-service launderettes onboard the
Disney Wonder on Decks 2, 6, and 7. These are all located Midship with Deck 2 being on the Port Side (left when facing the front of the ship) and Decks 6 and 7 on the Starboard Side (right). If you plan to do laundry during your vacation, my first suggestion is to bring a pop-up hamper to collect dirty clothes and to transport them to wash and dry. Your "Key to the World" card will be used to pay the nominal fees for the use of the machines, detergent, and fabric softener (you can bring your own as well). The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will alert you when you need to move your clothes to the dryer and when everything is dry. You'll also receive a message on your
Wave Phone. I was just aboard Disney Cruise Line last week and utilized the Guest laundry facilities and found the entire process very simple. If your clothes are wrinkled, complimentary irons are available in each laundry room.
The Disney Wonder does offer full-service laundry and dry cleaning services along with a "press only" option. If you'd like to send something off to be cleaned or pressed, there will be form with pricing in your stateroom along with a Disney Cruise Line Laundry Bag. Just let your stateroom host/hostess know, and they will be happy to take care of it for you.
I hope my answer is helpful, Thomas. Please let us know if you have any additional questions before you are enjoying
all a Disney Cruise Line vacation has to offer!
Bon Voyage!
Nancy
