Hi, Autumn! We appreciate you taking the time to send in a question to planDisney. I'm sorry to hear you don't feel well. I wish we could summon Baymax to be your "personal healthcare companion!"
A few years ago, Disneyland Resort started implementing price tiers for 1-day theme park tickets. According to the Disneyland website, if you have purchased a
1-day ticket and decide to use it for a day on which it is not valid, you can upgrade the ticket by applying the paid value of the ticket toward the price of the new ticket at any Disneyland Resort
Guest Relations location.
However, since advance theme park reservations are needed, the
Ticket Services Cast Members can usually offer the refund/repurchase option over the phone to save you from going to the park to make the transaction. They can be reached at (714) 781-4636 and are open 7 days a week from 7 am until 9 pm Pacific time. Before upgrading, make sure to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar before choosing your new dates. Once the upgrade is complete, you can rebook your
Theme Park Reservations, and you'll be good to go!
Autumn, before your big move, I hope you schedule some time to see my favorite Disney nighttime spectacular, the
Main Street Electrical Parade. And remember, I'm all ears if you ever decide to visit Mickey in his east coast residence! See ya real soon.
