We have WOC dessert party booked on May 10th, but a special event just popped up for that day starting at 9pm. I don't know what this event is so I'm not ticketed for it. How does this work with WOC dessert since WOC doesn't start until 9?

Hi there, Courtney! Welcome to planDisney and I hope you're having a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious day!

I'm so happy to see you here and thanks for visiting us at planDisney. Your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is just around the corner! It sounds like you've already planned some items, including the World of Color Dessert Party. What a wonderful highlight to your evening!

I just checked the Entertainment Schedule for Wednesday, May 10, and it is showing that World of Color - ONE will be shown at 8:30 p.m. There is indeed a Special Ticketed Event that evening, which is Grad Nite, and therefore Disney California Adventure will be closing at 9 p.m. I'm happy to report that it should not impact your World of Color viewing experience at all! Your check-in time for the Dessert Party will be 7:30 p.m. at the Eureka Water Wheel near the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and bring your sweet tooth with you! Disney California Adventure will close to the general public after the show and if you purchased a Park Hopper Pass, you can head over to Disneyland Park to continue the fun! I think the Matterhorn Bobsleds and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are especially thrilling after dark!

During your visit, be sure to head on over to the newly redesigned Mickey's Toontown to experience Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. It's become one of my favorite attractions at the Park and is worth a ride whenever I go. And if you are Indy fan, don't miss the new effects on the Indiana Jones Adventure, which was recently refurbished. It'll get you in the mood for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny in a couple of short months!

Well, Courtney, I hope I was able to answer your question and that you have a fantastic time on your trip to the Disneyland Resort. If there is anything else that we at planDisney can do for you, please feel free to visit us again!

    Have a Magical Day!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
