    Will be at WL what time do the buses or boats leave for MK? We have an early breakfast before MK opens? Thanks!

    Hi, Susan! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question.

    I just looked over the transportation hours for Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort. There are two separate boat launches at your Resort hotel, the blue flag boat and the red flag boat. When headed to Magic Kingdom, be sure to hop on the red flag boat, which is usually on the left side of the dock. This boat shows current operational hours as a half hour before park opening to an hour and a half after the park closes. This is not going to work for you, so you will need to hop on the Magic Kingdom bus from the Resort.

    The regular bus transportation hours are listed as beginning operation one hour before the park opens. However, Disney does realize that Guests require transportation to those oh-so-popular breakfasts scheduled before the parks open. In my experience, we have hopped on the buses as early as 6:45 a.m. numerous times. The bus from your Resort will also make a stop at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground before heading to Magic Kingdom, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get to your magical breakfast.

    If you just really enjoy the boats and absolutely want to use them on this day, you do have one other option. The blue flag boat launch that I mentioned earlier usually starts running at 6:45 a.m., headed to Disney's Contemporary Resort. You could sail over to that Resort and follow the path to walk over to Magic Kingdom. This could take a bit longer than the bus ride, but I just wanted to make sure you knew about this option in case you need a little more experience sailing than it's a small world will provide you.
