Hi Brandon!
As I am sure you have gathered, there have been a
few changes to planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation since the parks
opened up the gates in what felt like
the first time in forever.
One of those changes includes the introduction of the
Disney Park Pass system. A Disney Park Pass system reservation is currently required for each ticketed member of your party to enter any of the 4 theme parks.
If reservations are not showing as available for your desired dates, do not worry, I can help make sure that your vacation planning doesn't end up
ice cold.
Disney Park Pass system reservations are updated in real-time. This means that as people cancel their plans, change theme parks, or decide to take a break from the parks for the day, additional reservations will open up! Like a
big summer blow-out at Wandering Oaken's Trading Post, reservations are also occasionally replenished, allowing last-minute guests to visit the magical land of
Arendelle.
I planned a trip this winter in under two weeks, and while we were indeed
frozen, I was able to snag our Disney's Hollywood Studios park pass reservation about a week before we left. My best advice would be to keep checking, specifically at 30 days out and then daily starting about 2 weeks before you leave. The more often you log into your
My Disney Experience Account and check, the more likely it is that you will be there when a last-minute reservation is released.
In my experience, Disney Park Pass system reservations for
Disney's Hollywood Studios have been the hardest to get, so if any are available, I would recommend that you book them now.
I hope that this gave you a bit of guidance, Brandon! Please come back here to planDisney if we can help answer any other questions for you.
Let it go!
