If I wish to purchase a fancy cocktail at a stall on property do I need an ID? I’m 56

Hi Adrienne!  Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

There are so many fun and fancy libations to enjoy while visiting Walt Disney World Resort.  From the unique offerings at festivals like the upcoming 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts, to other-worldly concoctions at Oga's Cantina, to old standbys like the Grand Marnier Orange Slush at Les Vins des Chefs de France, you'll have many options!

Adrienne, I am (well, let's just say I am old enough to have offspring who are also of legal drinking age) years old and I am required to show a photo ID when purchasing alcoholic beverages at Walt Disney World Resort.  In many locations, it is simply standard protocol, and all Guests are asked to show a photo ID regardless of how young or old they appear to be.  My standard practice is to always carry an ID whenever I leave the house, and I have been known to use my "mom voice" to remind my teen and adult children to do the same, just in case.

Have a wonderful vacation, and be sure to stop by Tamu Tamu Refreshments for one of my favorite Walt Disney World treats: Dole Whip Pineapple Float with Rum.  It is like having dessert and a fancy cocktail at the same time!
