Hi there, Larry!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney, where we *dig a little deeper* to find answers to your Disney vacation questions. I am sorry to hear you need to cancel your
Walt Disney World reservation. I will do my best to point you in the right direction.
If you have a Disney vacation package booked, meaning you have a
Disney Resort hotel reservation along with
theme park tickets and possibly a
Disney Dining Plan, you need to cancel 30 days or more before your arrival to avoid cancellation fees. Cancelling your vacation package 30 or more days before you arrive, the amounts paid minus cancellation fees assessed by third-party hotels or other suppliers, and non-refundable travel protection, will be refunded. If you cancel your Disney vacation package 2 to 29 days before your arrival, the amounts paid minus a cancellation fee of $200 per package will be refunded. For cancellations made 1 day or less before your arrival, or no-shows, the full price of the package is non-refundable. You can read more details about the cancellation policies on the
Walt Disney Travel Company Terms and Conditions for Walt Disney World Resort page.
For Disney Resort hotel room-only reservations, you can cancel up to 8 days in advance without penalty. If you cancel any sooner than those 8 days, you will lose your deposit, which is the amount of one night of your stay.
To
cancel your reservation, you can either log in to your Disney account and cancel your reservation or call to
speak to a helpful Cast Member with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and Tickets. You will need the reservation confirmation number and the lead name on the reservation to modify or cancel the reservation.
I hope this information helps you make the necessary changes to your
Walt Disney World reservations. If you need assistance canceling something else, like a
dining,
theme park, or
Lightning Lane reservation, please reach back out to us here at
planDisney. We are here and happy to help!
See Ya Real Soon!
