Ahoy Bob,
Thanks for sailing back to planDisney with another great cruise question! How special to be planning a voyage aboard the new
Disney Wish this spring.
You’re smart to think ahead to be ready for Online Check-In. As a prerequisite, you must first have paid your vacation balance in full. Be sure to confirm both the paid in full and Online Check-In milestone dates for your reservation on either the
Disney Cruise Line website or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app under Next Steps.
I spoke with a Crew Member today on your behalf, and he confirmed that
citizenship documents and security photos do not carry over from previous sailings. You must upload these important documents for each cruise.
My advice is to gather this documentation ahead of your Online Check-In date for smooth sailing. I prefer to do the Online Check-In on a computer and create a folder on my desktop for easy finding. I store the photos of my family members and citizenship documentation in one place so I can quickly browse and upload them on the website when the time comes.
I hope you have a practically perfect cruise, Bob! Since you already know how special a Disney Cruise Line vacation is, I encourage you to take advantage of
future cruise savings by booking a placeholder while onboard. You can do this in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
Please bring us any additional questions you have as you finalize this special vacation.
Bon voyage!
Amy
