Hello, are wines such as Porto and Vermouth allowed as a port of the 2 carry on alcoholic beverages?

Ahoy and welcome to planDisney, Nick! Thank you for cruising by with this question as your countdown is now in single digits! You must be getting so excited.

Disney Cruise Line allows Guests ages 21 and older to bring alcohol onboard with their carry-on luggage. This includes a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces). Although bottles of wine are allowed, fortified wines like port and vermouth are classified as alcohol and are therefore prohibited.

Have you signed up for any onboard beverage tastings? These tend to fill up quickly once the window opens for booking onboard activities, but I was able to snag a tequila tasting while on a recent cruise. Both my friend Lizzie and I got a chance to go behind the bar and make margaritas to spice up our tasting. It was fabulous and fun.

If you happen to be on the Disney Dream or Disney Fantasy, the planDisney Class of 2024 highly recommends enjoying a drink at the Meridian. A view of the horizon and a drink in your hand is the perfect combination for a spirited cruise.

If you have any other questions, please come back to planDisney. SEA 'ya real soon!

    Cheers!
    Jana
