Welcome home, Diana!
As a Disney Vacation Club member, I have a special place in my heart for the
Disney Vacation Club villas. At first, I thought, "I'm on vacation. Who needs a full-sized kitchen or washer and dryer?" But these make our vacations so much more relaxed and easy. With the separate bedrooms, we have doors and light switches aplenty, so we do not have to go to sleep at the same time as our kids. It's a world that makes such wonderful things.
Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members can book at their home resort starting 11 months before their trip, and they can book at any other DVC resort starting 7 months before their trip. Disney Vacation Club, however, has rooms for DVC reservations and some inventory of rooms available for anyone to book a
deluxe villa, just as you would any other
Disney Resorts Collection room. If they are showing unavailable for your dates, keep checking. These may become available anytime but certainly pay attention around six months before your desired travel dates.
Another option is considering a Walt Disney Resort with
Club Level Concierge. I recently stayed at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort with club access and enjoyed having snacks and beverages ready for me when I was able to stop in, enjoy the views and relax. Like the villas, it was nice to have this extra space to enjoy. And in the morning, the coffee was already brewing.
Walt Disney World Resorts Collection has something for everyone: from "I'm going to be in the parks all day and just want a place to sleep" to "I could stay at the resort all day, and it will be a complete vacation."
I hope you find your happiness with the whoozits and whatzits galore. Please come back to
planDisney with any other questions as you get ready for your time as part of this world.
Cheers,
Jana
