Will Wine Country Trattoria be offering a dining package to view the frightfully fun parade at Oogie Boogie Bash?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Nicole!

The Oogie Boogie Bash is my absolute favorite After Hours event at the Disneyland Resort, and I’m thrilled it’s creeping back into Disney California Adventure this fall! I’ve already grabbed my ticket and can’t wait to step into all the spooky fun. It’s the perfect blend of eerie and enchanting.

Now, while Wine Country Trattoria won’t be offering a parade viewing dining package this year, I’ve got a tasty alternative to share! The Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party is back, and it comes with some delicious perks. The reserved viewing area is located right along the parade route near Sonoma Terrace. This is an ideal location for catching all the chills and thrills of the Frightfully Fun Parade. Guests will receive a box of handcrafted desserts and charcuterie, unlimited soft drinks and bottled water, plus an alcoholic beverage for those 21 and older. Best of all? Each party guest gets an exclusive event-themed pin! These packages are now available to book on the Disneyland website, and they do fill quickly, so I’d recommend snagging your reservation soon if you're interested.

If you’re skipping the dessert party, here’s a Q-Tip: the parade typically runs twice during the event, and the second performance usually draws smaller crowds. Two of my favorite viewing spots are in front of The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure (where the parade kicks off) and across from Carthay Circle Theater, where the lighting and backdrop make for fantastic photos.

During the first parade showing, I recommend heading over to Villains Grove. This immersive transformation of the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail uses lighting, fog, projections, and sound to conjure an ethereal world inspired by Disney’s most notorious villains. It’s spooky, beautiful, and completely unique to the Bash.

And don’t forget to explore the Treat Trails scattered across the park! Many feature rare character sightings in full Halloween flair. Last year I stumbled upon Ernesto de la Cruz serenading guests with ghostly flair. Plus this year, two new villains join the fun. Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blogs for more information on who will be scaring up new tricks and treats.

Nicole, I hope this helps you conjure up your perfect plan for Oogie Boogie Bash! If you have more questions as Halloween approaches, we’re always here at planDisney to lend a hand.

    Wishing you a boo-tiful visit,

    David
