Is there a window of time for your dining reservations in case you cannot get there exactly on time?

Hello there, Lynda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

There's nothing quite as stressful as running late for a dining reservation! As a perpetual planner, I like to be early for any plans I have and, at worst, on time. During the times in which I am running late to an advanced dining reservation at Walt Disney World Resort, I always try my best to remind myself that I am on vacation and my primary goal is to relax!

With that being said, I have definitively run late for my own reservations on more than one occasion! In my experience, dining locations will generally hold onto your table for approximately 15 minutes after your selected dining reservation time. Keep in mind, though, this is never guaranteed and is completely up to the dining location!

If I know that I am going to be late for my dining reservation, I try my best to hop onto the My Disney Experience app and check for alternative times! Sometimes, you can make a last-minute change to your reservation and score a later dining reservation time.

I hope this information will assist you in planning your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can assist you with planning any other part of your vacation!
