Hi there, Stephanie, and welcome to planDisney! If you're hoping for a magical summer vacation filled with lifelong memories, then a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort is just the ticket!
I think you'll be thrilled with your decision to purchase a
theme park ticket with the Water Park & Sports option. I just checked the calendar, and your arrival date currently indicates that an 8-Day Theme Park Ticket would have a 12-day use window while a 9-Day Theme Park Ticket would have a 13-day use window. By adding the Water Park & Sports option, you would not only get eight or nine days of access to Walt Disney World Resort theme parks but also the same number of visits to Typhoon Lagoon or select recreation locations such as
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course and
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf during your valid use window. Because the tickets can be used on non-consecutive days, I would suggest using a couple of your water park and sports visits on days you're not planning to spend in theme parks so that you can rest your feet for your next day of magical miles in a theme park.
Since you're visiting during the warm summer months, the call of
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park's cool water might have you mistaking yourself for Moana. My planDisney pal Jenna just
stopped by Typhoon Lagoon and has me adding the
Castaway Creek lazy river and
Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool to my own Spring Break itinerary! Speaking of mistaking yourself for Moana, you're sure to be amazed by EPCOT's new interactive addition,
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, so be sure to check it out during your vacation.
I hope this was helpful, Stephanie, and that you have a wonderful vacation in The Most Magical Place on Earth. If any additional questions arise as you are planning, feel free to stop back by.
I'm always happy to help!
Hakuna Matata,
Lizzie
